History:
"We've been using Maya since its inception and upgraded to 4.5 in late October. We run Maya on Irix and Windows 2000, and we're currently evaluating Linux, OS X, and Windows XP with the long-term aim of moving completely to Linux. We've done some testing with 4.0.1 and Linux and found it not as stable as on Irix or Windows 2000. Hopefully, these issues have been addressed in 4.5.
