The outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in key cities primarily across Asia--Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing--has sent these countries into a tailspin. While industries like travel and tourism have been the most directly hit, there's no doubt that the trickle down effect will be felt by broadcasters, and the production and post production communities of Asia.

Clearly, the spread of this highly infectious disease is cause for worry--potentially fatal, no known vaccine, and reports of mutations and possible relapse, but it's not a lost cause to hope that some relief ...
