CNBC stake in CNBC-TV18 joint venture down to 10 per cent.(Broadcast Updates)(Brief Article)

Television Eighteen Ltd (TV18), the local partner of CNBC Asia Pacific of business channel CNCB TV18, has increased its stake in the channel from 49 per cent to 90 per cent. CNBC AP now holds a 10 per cent stake in TV18's unlisted channel broadcast subsidiary. TV 18 will hive off the channel's operations into its existing unlisted subsidiary, iNEWS.com in which CNBC AP will take a 10 per cent stake.
