Digital animation studio, TV Bean, has signed a NT$233 million (US$6.75 million) deal with Japanese companies Planet Inc and Fuji Creative Corp to co-produce a 52-episode animated cartoon serial. The series, Panda Monium, based on a short animated film that won the Taiwan Animation Prototype Design Award sponsored by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, is expected to debut in Japan in the second half of 2004.
