Blessed harmony: Singapore-based production company Oak3 Films has a couple of co-productions under its belt but its latest project, House of Harmony, marks its largest collaborative effort yet. Asia Image finds out more.

House of Harmony is a two-part period drama mini-series that is jointly produced by Oak3 Films in Singapore and Germany's FFP New Media. Based on a novel from American writer Barbara Wood, it's a poignant tale of love lost and found over two generations spanning the 1920s and 1950s in Singapore and Los Angeles.
The partnership between the two companies was match made by the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore. FFP New Media, which owns the rights to several of Wood's novels, had already produced two to three tele-features based on the popular writer's novels. The ...
