If there is one format that has stormed into India's programming market of late, it has to be reality talent shows. Whether it's finding the next singing sensation, sports commentator, dancing couple, model, or an entrepreneur, every other channel seems to be capitalising on this trend.

Recently, Star One, a relatively new 24-hour Hindi entertainment channel, decided to take a plunge in the reality genre. The channel debuted Lakme Fashion House, an Indian version of Fact Based Communications' (FBC) popular European format Fashion House on February 19.
