Local free-TV networks' hold on Korean audiences has slipped over the past five years, according to The Korean Broadcasting Institute's latest annual ratings report. The KBI said the average rating of the three major television channels--KBS, MBC and SBS--dropped to 27 per cent last year from 36.5 per cent in 2000.
