The Associated Press (7.430) will demonstrate ENPS 5.0, the latest version of its news production system that offers the following upgrades: new user interface that now adheres to the graphical-Windows XP design; editing window control bar allowing easy, one button access to all available formatting tools; robust MOS support; detachable plug-in window, increasing the area in which third-party applications can be used; and support for xml-based standards such as NewsML, SportsML, and NITF, with expanded ability to ingest agency copy in multiple languages.
