Just this week, Singapore's only terrestrial broadcaster announced, after a months-long search, that a telco exec would be its next group CEO.
Lucas Chow, executive vice president of corporate business at the country's largest telco, SingTel, succeeds Ernest Wong. He joins MediaCorp with more than seven years experience in the telcom business; prior to SingTel he had been with Hewlett-Packard for 20 years.
