If you consider all of Jack Neo's onscreen personas--immortalized in his highly rated, weekly-televised installments of Comedy Night--his popularity in Singapore does literally reach legendary proportions. I'm talking about every person from every strata of every household in Singapore who has either watched, commented on, scrutinized and more importantly, been entertained by the guy.
