The collective mood in the production and post sectors Down Under appear buoyant, pointing to much welcome governmental tax rebates and heralding future growth in the VFX and 3D departments. That is a far cry from 2007's moribund state of affairs, which saw most of the players twiddling thumbs as they watched their businesses dwindle, due primarily to a sharp downturn in the volume and value of foreign-originated features and TV dramas.
