The Grass Valley Indigo AV mixer won "Most innovative video signal processing and management product for commercial use" at the InAVation Awards 2007. A new concept in live switchers for audio-visual applications, Grass Valley came up tops against Analog Way, Extron Electronics and Kramer Electronics to win the award on Monday 29 January at ISE 2007 in Amsterdam.
The Indigo AV mixer brings broadcast quality multi-format switching of video and PC signals with audio mixing to the professional arena. As a desktop unit, it features the button and T-bar video user interface and multiple faders for audio. It can also be controlled from the integral color touch screen. The Indigo system was launched in August 2006, and is priced from US$13,900.
