MediaCorp announced the promotion of James Yip to executive vice president, sales, from his position of managing director, MediaCorp Radio, to take charge of advertising sales across television, radio and print from April 1, 2007.
Yip currently oversees advertising sales at Channel News Asia, radio stations, TODAY newspaper and 16 magazine titles. Taking over from Melvin Ang who has resigned, Yip adds to his portfolio the responsibilities of airtime sales at Channel 5, 8, UTV Mobile, Suria and Central.
