Sweden: Digital Vision, developer of advanced digital media applications in film and video solutions, has released new additions to its DVO (Digital Vision Optics) collection of resolution-independent image processing tools.

DVO Sharpen provides realistic pictures using adaptive picture analysis and processing. Advanced controls further adapt the processing depending on the original focus or illumination levels. It does not create side effects such as amplification of grain or noise and halo effects around already sharp items associated with standard algorithms.
