Yale University, where Hermann Broch was a professor when he died in 1951 and where his papers are kept, has since 1986 hosted several conferences on his work. The proceedings of the most recent one have now been edited by Paul Michael Lutzeler, whose lifelong dedication to Broch, as his biographer, editor and interpreter, has lately culminated in his founding of the International Hermann Broch Society.
