New Zealand -- Foodstuffs Ltd., a supermarket operator in New Zealand, and BP New Zealand have struck an agreement that will see fuel sold at outlets in Pak'N Save supermarket car parks, BP reported in August.

The agreement allows Pak'N Save to offer its customers vouchers that will give them a discount on gasoline and diesel purchased at the outlets, BP said. The discount will be tied to the purchase value of their groceries. Pak'N Save is a fully owned unit of Foodstuffs.

The self-service outlets will be opened progressively over the next five years and managed by Pak'N Save supermarket operators as agents for BP. The fuel won't be BP-branded, and customers won't be able to use the BP Fuelcard or receive rewards and other market benefits normally...
