Southern Politics in the 1990s is a collection of essays by various contributors on the politics of the eleven states of the old Confederacy since the late 1980s and early 1990s. Alexander P. Lamis is a journalist who has put together previous works on southern politics and Ohio politics. The individual state chapters were written jointly by journalists and academics (from two to four authors); Lamis wrote the introductory and concluding chapters.
