While attending a conference in China last year I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with C. R. Rajagopalan. In our conversation he talked about the Centre for Folklore/ Indigenous Knowledge Studies (CFS), where he serves as director, and I immediately felt that it might be useful for some of our readers to know about the Centre and its activities.
