Toll Jumpers, Beware.(Brief Article)

With more than 50,000 tollgate violations a day, a foolproof, automated means of toll collection on New Jersey's turnpike system was obviously needed. First, a problem had to be soled: How to photograph the license plate of vehicles attempting to avoid the toll. Such photographs would have to be taken in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions.
