Opulence is in the eye of the beholder. The city of Dallas, of course, has long been a byword for over-the-top richness. But forget big hair and bigger jewels--not to mention catfights. As our eponymous feature shows, there's more to this town than those hoary cliches. For some of its denzens, true wealth means the freedom to pursue one's passions, and Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, and furniture designer Jan Barboglio, among others, sum this up. We show them with the other strong element in their lives, their families. Then there's "Broken Dolls," which takes a slightly different tack.
