In New York, the junior jet set decked themselves out in their razzle-dazzle best and glided from one party to another. The Museum of the City of New York's Twenties-themed winter ball, sponsored by Chanel, drew more than 800 glamorous guests, including Tara Rockefeller, Jilt Roosevelt, Samantha Boardman and Karen Groos, who sailed up the grand staircase for the benefit's seated dinner on the mezzanine. "I'm the oldest man in the room," declared Arie Kopeiman. But longevity never stopped anyone from having a good time.

To celebrate Missoni's 50th anniversary, the party pack poured themselves into slinky knits and headed to the Majestic for an informal dinner--make that a very informal dinner--hosted by Jacqui Lividini of Saks Fifth Avenue and Vikram Chatwal....
