For the clients of Nestspa, the new mobile spa at the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, room service is infinitely more soothing than just a midnight mac-and-cheese. Massage therapists roll a smooth, walnut box the size of a large steamer trunk into guest quarters, lifting the top to reveal an electric kettle, ministereo and fully operational hot-water sink Doors pop open to display rows of bottles filled with essential oils, tonics and medicinal remedies, and, ingeniously, a massage table slides out of a slot on the side. It's a Modernist design junkie's dream.
