At the height of Britain's Pop movement in the Sixties, Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses were all the rage. Hubert de Givenchy commissioned pairs for Audrey Hepburn in Two for the Road and How to Steal a Million, while cads like Michael Caine and Peter Sellers sported the geek-chic frames around town. Now, after a 20-year hiatus, the firm is again producing fashion sunglasses. The best part? They've hardly changed a bit. Last year, after trolling her family's archive of 400-plus frames, Claire Goldsmith, great-granddaughter of the company's founder and namesake, relaunched a selection of bespoke frames, designed in London from original colorful acetates.
