For those who thought popularity contests ended in high school, think again. When members log on to asmallworld.net, an exclusive online community catering to the rich and frequent-flying, they can pull up a list of the Web site's 40 "most connected users. The ranking is currently topped by Denise Kaufmann Razzouk, a socialite and handbag designer who lists her home cities as New York, London and Miami and has 1,798 so-called friends in her network. Second on the list is Erik Wachtmeister, the site's founder and CEO, who has 1,724, followed closely by Hong Kong banking heir Andy Wong and New York publicity princess Vanessa von Bismarck.
