PRINCETON, NJ - Hershey's Milk Chocolate Candy Bars have been named among the Top 10 highestquality brands in a study measuring consumers' familiarity, satisfaction and perception of quality of nearly 300 major consumer brands.
In related news, consumer Reports magazine recently ranked the top chocolate bar brands. Godiva Chocolatier bars received the highest ratings in the dark and milk categories with commentary rivaling that of fine wine. 'Very intense, full, complex. Distinct floral fruity note," read the sensory notes. Ghirardelli with Almonds was rated the highest in the 'milk chocolate with extras" category.
Despite the praise, the magazine's editors concluded chocolate is "all a matter of taste."
