HACKETTSTOWN NJ -- Masterfoods USA has taken top honors at the Promotion Marketing Association's Reggie Awards. Which recognizes promotional marketing efforts.
For the company's M&M's Global Color Vote, Masterfoods received a gold award in the International/Global Promotion category and a silver award in the National Consumer Promotion Budget Over $5 Million category.
PMA noted more than 10 million votes in 78 countries were cast for a new M&M's color and that the brand grew 21 percent during the promotion, in addition. 71 percent of adult Americans are aware there is a new color of M&M's with 44 percent knowing it is purple.
