Kay is the president of what is now Inland Materials Distribution Group Inc.-the product of Inland Steel Industries' reorganization of metals distribution operations. We have structured the Am the way that customers want to see it," he says.
So now, Inland Materials Distribution Inc., based in Norcross, Ga., is the parent of five operating companies involved in metals distribution and processing:
Joseph T. Ryerson/East, Philadelphia, headed by president Francis W. Thorley.
Joseph T. Ryerson/Central, Chicago, headed by president Carl G. Lusted.
Joseph T. Ryerson/West, Seattle, headed by president Frank H. Beal.
