Ehlers retires after 33 years. (Norm Ehlers; Ford Motor Co.)

Ford Motor Co. is without the services of Norm Ehlers, who retired January I following a 33-year career in which he worked his way up the corporate purchasing ladder to serve as vice president of purchasing and supply from 1992-1994.

Ehlers, who was vice president of facilities and non-production purchasing when he retired, began his career with Ford in 1962 following his graduation from the University of Illinois where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics.
