Online catalog system from CADIS now linked to SAP R/3. (procurement software)

SAP, provider of client/server enterprise application software, has integrated Web catalog publishing software from CADIS Inc., Boulder, Colo., into the new Procurement module of its R/3 system. This move is expected to help streamline procurement and commodity and supplier management at large corporations using the R/3 system.
Linking the Krakatoa Web Catalog Publisher system to R/3 enables users to create customized preferred supplier catalogs and embed these catalogs within the R/3 environment for easy access. By using the company's extensive and flexible authoring tool--Krakatoa Easy Author--R/3 users or their suppliers can build electronic catalogs, either from scratch or by importing data from existing sources.
