Making measurements pay off in product quality.

There has been some disappointment in recent years as companies realize that quality programs do not necessarily guarantee higher product quality. Measurements can direct a company to find where quality is falling short, but it still must mobilize its top resource--suppliers--to contribute to higher quality products.
