New Dell options rev up notebook PC performance.

Dell Computer has made available new options--including capability for up to 256MB of RAM, an LS-120 device for removable mass storage, and up to 12.8GB of hard-disk-drive space--to increase performance and functionality of its Latitude corporate notebook computers. Dell also plans to offer DVD-ROM drives on the notebooks later this quarter.
Dell understands that corporate customers demand reliable and durable products, relevant technology, and managed transitions, says Doug MacGregor, vice president, Notebook Product Group. This is what the Latitude line delivers.
