Wholesaler-distributors are upbeat, reports a new confidence index survey by Arthur Andersen. The Year Ahead Index grew to 107.9 from 107.4. Survey respondents were asked to indicate the overall level of confidence in business conditions for the next 12 months (January to December 1999) compared to the previous 12 months.
This index operates on a base of 100, recorded in the second quarter of 1991.
