Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. of Los Angeles is buying Arrow Metals in Garland, Texas, a $2 million/year distributor of aluminum, stainless steel, and coppermetals. Reliance also has acquired the Allegheny Steel Distributors metals service center company based in Indianola, Pa., which had 1998 sales of $31 million in cut-to-length and blanked carbon steel flat-rolled products.
