IBM has taken steps to expand into the growing business-to-business e-commerce sector by forming strategic alliances with Ariba and i2 Technologies. Calling their joint venture "B2B Redefined," the three companies will integrate their technologies, as well as develop global marketing strategies and integrated solutions for full-service marketplaces, integrated supply chains and networks of open services.
