High-speed communications drives connector technology.

As telecommunications system performance continues to focus on higher bandwidth and high-speed data transmission, connector makers are being driven to develop and invest in high-speed or high-density solutions. High speed, high density and 2-mm connectors are three of the fastest growing product segments in the connector industry, according to connector makers.
