Intel has cut prices for its desktop and mobile Pentium III and Celeron microprocessors. The number-one chipmaker cut process tags up to 33% for a wide range of its processors. It reduced its 1GHz Pentium III processor for desktops 32% to $669 and its 633MHz desktop Celeron MPU 33% to $93. The mobile Pentium III, 750MHz device was reduced 29% to $401.
