* Growth in shipment of hard disk drives is set to decelerate over the next several years as the mobile personal computer market loses some steam, iSuppli Corp. predicts. Global hard disk drive shipments rose from 218 million in 2002 to 259 million units in 2003, a 19% rise, and then to 304 million units in 2004, up 17%.

As forecast by iSuppli, global shipments will be 462 million drives in 2005, an 11% rise.
