This month's Office Technologies feature looks at how the big-four office products distributors Staples Contract Division, Corporate Express, OfficeMax, and Office Depot--respond to their customers' demands for supplier diversity. As the directors of the programs at these companies note that while it's important for both purchasers and their distributor suppliers to develop historically underutilized businesses, the suppliers also must meet rigorous quality, service and price requirements.
