AT&T EXPANSION DELAYED.(Federal Communications Commission)(BellSouth Corp. acquisition)(Brief article)

By Staff Justice regulators have given unconditional approval to AT&T's buyout of BellSouth, setting the stage for creation of a coast-to-coast behemoth that would be the largest U.S. provider of telephone, wireless and broadband Internet services. However, bickering at the Federal Communications Commission has delayed a necessary vote until this month, or later.
