By Staff In early January, Canon announced the release of the DR-4010C scanner (pictured), which can scan up to 84 images per minute and 42 pages per minute. The company anticipates further growth in the popularity of document scanners, and hopes that higher document imaging speeds will prove useful in environments needing fast image or text capture.
The company also announced three new imageRUNNER desktop laser printers in January, two color and one black-and-white, with color output speeds ranging from 22-30 pages per minute and monochrome speeds at 35 pages per minute.
