Corning Revives Optical Fibers.(Brief article)

With optical fiber demand in resurgence, Corning is reopening its formerly closed capacity at its Concord, N.C. plant. "The optical fiber market has witnessed volume growth of greater than 15% in each of the last two years," according to Eric Musser, vice president and general manager. The new supply won't be ready for six to nine months, though.
