GOOD NEWS comes in threes.

TowerGroup has hired three new faces to round out its securities business. Incoming manager Stepharie Evanic comes to the firm from Accenture, while Ernest Brito, hired as a managing director and senior advisor, hails from many corners of the industry, including Deloitte, Citigroup, KMPG, and BNY. Finally, senior analyst Miranda Mizeh hails from Insinet and UBS Warburg.

Brookstreet has also added three names to the payroll. In the Los Angeles area, Terrence Duckett brings his retirement planning expertise from A.G. Edwards, while investment specialist Tilton Gardner comes from Roth Capital Partners. And on the other side of the country, Douglas Totten has left UBS Paine Webber to help staff the Florida front.
