Globe Telecom picks up the first-ever GSMA award for mobile messaging at the tenth annual GSM Association Awards in Cannes. Globe won the award for its G-Cash m-commerce service that allows its customers--even those without bank accounts or credit cards--to send money phone-to-phone, buy goods and services, pay for business permits, and receive micro-financing and international remittances via SMS.
