Beijing Digital Telecom (BDT), one of Chinas largest resellers of mobile handsets and a subsidiary of China Telecom, has contracted Siemens Networks to commercially deploy what it claims is the first DRM-protected Chinese full-track mobile music download service. Under the agreement, Siemens will provide its Music2You (M2Y) platform to BDT.
With M2Y, BDT customers can select music titles from a comprehensive catalog, and then download the complete version straight to their mobile phones. www.siemens.com
