Science Activities, January, 2002
THE ZOOLOGIK SYSTEM OF KINESTHETIC ANATOMY IN CLAY helps students learn anatomy more effectively and retain what they learn longer. The system is based on the principle that students incorporate knowledge better through experiential or kinesthetic learning. Hand-cast plastic models of skeletons specially designed for use with clay are the foundation of the anatomy system. The centerpiece of the system is the Maniken, a half-size, plastic skeleton of the human body.
