By partnering with Seattle-based Flexcar, Starbucks has given its employees an environmentally friendly way to get around town for business meetings, company errands, and trips to its roasting plant in Kent, Wash.
Flexcar is a national car-sharing network that provides members with access to a fleet of vehicles located throughout several metropolitan areas. Individual members reserve the vehicles for hourly use with Flexcar covering the cost of the car, gas, parking, insurance and maintenance. Members pay only for the time they use the car. Flexcar business members can choose from a range of programs and plans to suit their needs.
