Outokumpu Harjavalta Metals Oy owns and operates copper and nickel smelters, sulphuric acid plants and a nickel refinery at Harjavalta and a copper refinery at Pori. The company's annual turnover is about 2,000 million Finnish marks ($350 million). Its payroll numbers nearly 1,000. The company's main products are cathode copper, blister copper, nickel cathodes, precious metals and sulphur products. Its raw materials include, besides sulphidic copper and nickel concentrates, scrap and metal-containing precipitates.
