* The Direct Marketing Association (The DMA) released a software program that lets direct marketers calculate their allowable cost per order from their desktops. The ACPO (cost per order) model offers marketers product and cost planning, including attrition, for all products, financial services and any ancillary services.

The software also calculates return on promotional investment by medium and provides automatic warning of unprofitable media assumptions.
