Alan Greenspan - cultist? The fascinating personal history of Mr. Pinstripe. (Federal Reserve Board chairman)
American Enterprise, The, September, 1997 by Bradford, R.W.
Alan Greenspan is one of the followers of famous novelist Ayn Rand, who advocated the philosophy of 'objectivism.' The Federal Reserve Board head was a member of Rand's inner circle during the rapid rise of this philosophy and the publication which it spawned, 'The Objectivist Newsletter,' which was co-edited by Rand and psychotherapist Nathaniel Branden. As Rand's followers grew in number and devotion, her following came to be treated as a religion, and eventually, as a cult. Greenspan stood by the 'Atlas Shrugged' author when she broke her professional and personal ties with Branden, and continued to be loyal to her until her death in 1982.
