The American Civil Liberties Union seems to believe that ignorance is bliss. Especially when it comes to voting. The organization recently challenged several sections of a new Florida election law that would place a bit of responsibility on those who pick our future political leaders.

After the fiascoes created by some South Floridians in last year's election, considerable attention and money have been targeted toward improving voting machinery. But the state legislature deemed that some responsibility lies with the voter as well. The new law states that when voters step into the polling booth they should have some idea as to what they are doing.
